Find Exceptional Harmony And  More Fulfillment In The Wheel Of Life

In my coaching practice, one of the exercises I know will always help a budding manifestor is the Wheel Of Life exercise. It's also called the Coaching Wheel, Life Balance Wheel, or Bhavachakra, and it's all about you becoming what you want to be. It's sooo effective and is always one of the first things I have a new client do. The reason it's super helpful is that it's so common for someone to put a lot of attention on one area of life and completely neglect others until they're very unhappy with them. And you know that when you're unhappy about something, it comes into sharp focus.

So starting your coaching or manifesting journey with the Wheel Of Life is a powerful way to gain precision, and it shines a spotlight on what you want to achieve with your manifesting. It's not new and certainly not exclusive to me. It's been used by many, many life coaches over time because it's very popular. And when you take the time to do it well, it balances various areas of your life and increases your overall satisfaction.

The Nuts & Bolts Of The Exercise

Let me give you a brief explanation of how it all works. The wheel I use is broken down into the main areas of life. There's one for each of the following;

  • Career & Professional Development
  • Finances & Money
  • Health & Wellness
  • Personal Development & Growth
  • Spirituality
  • Contribution & Community
  • Leisure & Recreation
  • Environment & Home
  • Relationships
  • Family
  • Love
  • Lifestyle & Planning

As such, it's a visual representation of life broken down into "slices" of a pie. Each slice represents a different aspect. Your job is to go through and reflect on each area. After evaluation, you'll rate your level of satisfaction with each area on a scale of 1 to 10.

That's how you're going gain clarity, my friend. By rating each area of our life and how we feel we're doing with it, we can see where we excel and where we need to focus our attention.

To complete the exercise, aside from having your trusty pen or pencil or even colored pens or pencils, you'll either draw your own Wheel Of Life or have a printed copy available. If you need one, I have some great options for you;

  • I have a totally free one that you can download below.

Completing The Wheel

STEP 1:

Rate Each Area: You will go through one section of the wheel at a time. Consider how satisfied you feel in that area of your life at the present moment. Then, rate your current level of satisfaction or fulfillment with that area on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being the lowest and ten being the highest.

✨Fun tip. If you're a creative person who likes color, you could choose a colored pencil and shade in the appropriate areas. If you do this, you can skip the second step if you prefer.

STEP 2:

Connect Those Dots: Once you've rated each section, mark the corresponding score on the wheel by drawing a line or dot at that point. Repeat this process for all the areas you have assessed.

STEP 3:

Reflect and Analyze: Take a step back and observe the overall shape of the wheel. The resulting pattern will reveal the balance or imbalance in different areas of your life. Identify the areas with low scores representing aspects needing improvement or attention.

STEP 4:

Set Goals: Based on your analysis, set goals for each area you want to improve. These goals should be specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound (in other words, a SMART goal). Consider what actions you can take to enhance your satisfaction in each aspect of life.

STEP 5:

Ensure Your Actions Are Inspired: Let me momentarily stress the importance of this exercise step.

Taking action is part of achieving any outcome. Nothing will happen if you don't do anything about your desires except sit and think about them. Please note the difference between thinking and manifesting here.

  • thinking- dreaming, and hoping are all nice but rarely produce results
  • mastered manifesting- is the ability to effectively & confidently assume, attract, feel, and live your desires before you have them

You can and will achieve the mastered manifesting state by taking some action when it comes from your inner guidance. You'll start to notice when your intuition gives you those famous nudges we all hear about. Yup, they're real, and you want to pay attention and get good at knowing that's what's happening.

The actions you take will be physical sometimes; other times, it will be different types of action. Because of my work with other manifestors and my own experience, I find that action is best when inspired because it always brings a more fulfilling and abundant result. So unless what you're doing makes sense, action for the sake of action isn't the way you want to think about it. But when you get that nudge from your inner guidance, in my experience, it's never wrong.

STEP 6:

Track Progress: It's good to revisit your wheel at somewhat regular intervals. You can see your successes in each area and then re-evaluate your satisfaction levels and adjust your goals as needed. As you improve in one area, the overall wheel becomes more balanced. That's the real goal here.

Lastly, as with any exercise or technique I suggest, you'll want to achieve and remain in a more positive, neutral, energetic state as much as possible. Yes, even feeling neutral can help, and I often talk about that. Also, please know that trust in the manifestation process is vital to get good results. But I've found if you have limited co-creation experience, it's good to find people with more experience or get success stories of other manifestors to boost your belief and show you the credibility of manifesting.

So, this exercise is often a great way to begin your manifesting story and is a concrete step to bring more fullness to each area of your life.
