A Special Announcement About The Magnetic Me Podcast

Hi, and thanks for listening to this special announcement about the magnetic money podcast. Of course, it's Macie here. And hey, it has been a hot minute since I've released a podcast episode. I know, I know. And if you're wondering what the heck happened? Well, it's called life. So let's get real with each other for a minute. Now, please excuse me in advance if I sound all awkward while I'm talking about this because I'm feeling awkward about it. But up until now, when I've put out a batch of podcast episodes, there has inevitably been a break afterward. And I don't mean for it to happen that way. But that's the way it's been going. And after a while, I start getting some DMs on Instagram and Facebook and even the odd email going, where are you? Why did the podcast episode stop? Will there be more? Why is this break so dang long?

Well, of course, you do deserve to know. So here is the reason. My business just like any other revolves around people who pay me to coach them or mentor them or for courses or other products. Now, this podcast is a wonderful part of my small business. I want to be here every single week for you. I love, love, love doing it! Realistically, though, just like doing social media, it takes some time. And what I mean by that is I've got to figure out what I want to say and find the time to sit in front of this microphone and talk to you. And then there's editing out parts where I stumble over words, or cough, or my phone rings while I'm doing it. That happens a lot, you'd be surprised. It's minimal editing, but it is necessary. And of course, I have to put it all together and uploaded and write out show notes. I could be paying someone to do all those things. I could get professional sound people to help me out and make it sounds beautiful. But those things cost money. And I don't have any sponsors, even though it is far, far, far from being anywhere near perfect. I want to do this podcast every week. And I want it to be free for everybody to listen to it. So the only thing preventing me from doing this every week is that I need more time. These episodes get brainstormed and outlined and done by getting squeezed out between other tasks during my days. So the only way I'm going to get more time to do this is by not taking on so many one-to-one coaching or mentoring clients. That's just what it is. My business relies on money coming in. That's the reason plain and simple. And not to mention that there are some costs associated with doing this podcast and putting it out there.

Now some of you have been asking how you can help support the podcast. And I so appreciate that. I can't even tell you how much, bless your hearts! So during this last break, I've been thinking about it. And while I don't have a Patreon, and I haven't set up a donation option for the podcast anywhere else, I have come up with a few ways you can help me grow this podcast and get more of what you need.
